In the dim and distant past

When life's tempo wasn't so fast,

Grandma used to rock and knit,

Crochet, tat and baby sit.

When the kids were in a jam,

They could always call on Gram.

But today she's in the gym

Exercising to keep slim.

She's checking the web or surfing the net,

Sending some e-mail or placing a bet.

Nothing seems to stop or block her,

Now that Grandma's off her rocker!</center>

Have a great day xxx

Ray how true, I'm a Grandma to 7 and apart from placing a bet then I'm with the second verse!

I was actually sitting and knitting while reading that, so I am a mixture of both verses, last week it was crochet, as I was finishing the shawl off for my son new grandbaby
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

I've never been able to crochet or knit properly, I can do it in a fashion but wouldn't be able to produce anything worth owning. x
