I'm not sure what I want for 2013! We are going to Florida for our belated honeymoon in May and I think after that and the wedding this year it's all going to be a big anti-climax!

Thankfully hubby's grandchildren don't live near us and I have said that if they ever move back here and he wants to look after them he can count me out! Thankfully he has said he wouldn't want to do it anyway!

Florida is something very positive to look forward to Skippy and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

I plan a holiday in November to celebrate hubby's 50th x

We have never seen in the new year as my MIL has always said you dont know whaat you are heralding in. This year we are going to set off a big firework just before midnight to frighten this year out as it has been a crap year. MIL died back in September after being diagnosed with cancer in August. She went in to hospital with what they thought was gallstones and came out with 4 weeks to live.So we are going to send this year out with a big bang.

We're not doing anything. I don't really like NYE and I won't pay extra to go anywhere so we'll stay at home and watch a DVD.

To be honest Skippy it has only become special for me as a surrogate Xmas with other half we do Xmas Day on NY Day. Other than that it's just another day really.

The one good thing about New Year is that we get to spend it on our own as we spend Christmas with our families.

Our mothers came for dinner on Christmas Day (always interesting!) and we went to my mother's with my uncle and his partner on Boxing Day - that's quite enough for me!

It actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting this year! Hubby's mum wasn't rude to me or anyone else and there was only a bit of geriatric love and affection between my uncle and his partner!
