Hi Lyns, i'm quite new to the forum but was just having a little look around and found your post. How old are your little ones? My boys are 3 and 1. I remember doing everything completely by the book with my first, and then when Kaleb came along i just did what i had to do to get some sleep!! Sounds like Leah is doing really well sleeping through until 5.45!! We did cosleep with Kaleb because i was just so tired getting up to him in the night, its not like you can go back to sleep in the day when you also have a toddler to look after. We pulled the cot up next to the bed and took the side of so we had our own space but he was right next to us when he needed us, it seemed to work well. xx

Hi anna - sorry we've not met before but welcome from me!

I have two boys not so little 9 and 7 years old! Leah is just 3 months now. But I know what it's like having 2 little ones close together & it's shattering! I don't know how I did it with the boys being 2 years apart! I have to say it easier with them being older, they want to help etc, but they still need feeding, taking to school etc!

Leah is back to 3-4 hour feeds through the night, that 10-5.45 was a one off! She only cat naps in the day now & feeds every 2 hours! So it's not like I can grab some sleep! But I'm enjoying her so much, I had post natal
Depression with the boys and it just went by in a haze, I look back & think how did I get through this then with a toddler!

Virtual snuggles for Leah every one..... Very unhappy baby after her 2nd jabs today :(

And she's growing to fast, I've pulled all her 3-6 months clothing out & put her 0-3 month away, where on earth is this year going :(

Well Leah slept from 10 - 5.45am again! Hopefully not a one off & she is doing it in her own cot & room too. :)

This afternoon Leah has been so smiley I've just sat with her talking while she smiles away kicking n waving her arms, I'm so lucky to have her. I really must get my phone out & capture one of her big gummy grins, they will melt your heart!
Really cheered me up today & I went for a windy wall with the boys, Leah & a friend & her children on the beach. I so needed it after a terrible day before with my parents, mainly to do with my mum & the heartache my dad is going through with her. I was in tears by the end of it & i ended up feeling like such a bad mum because of it, as it affected the boys & Leah.

Day one of Easter holidays & I'm shattered already! X

Ahhhh our Leah is growing so fast, love the pics on FB Lyns!

Lyns,I can't begin to understand the emotions you have dealing with your mum. What I do know and understand is how supportive you have been (and always will) to your lovely Dad and the strength you have to deal with your Mum. On top of that, you are a fantastic Mother to the boys and Leah and don't you ever, ever think anything different!!!

xx

Hello forum! Please forgive me my life has been taken over by a special little girl our forum baby Leah!

The past few weeks have flown by & I'm very pleased to say I've been blessed with a very good little happy baby Leah. The Easter holiday wizzed past & the boys had a blast going to a real football match at Middlesbrough, we had friends over whom we had not seen since Christmas it was hectic but good!
Few old problems are rearing there ugly heads, hubby's condition is having a relapse & is getting poorly again. My dad sight of his only eye now needs surgery, which will be done by the consultant because he only has the one to rely on. There have been huge problems with my mum to the point my dad left for a few days & I tried to sort it out & ended up not on speaking terms with her :( my sister also needs an operation but will have to get on with it! Those of u whom know me know why! I feel quite stressed with it all sometimes!

I just wanted you all to know I miss you like mad, hope your all ok & I think about you all the time.

Virtual hugs & love to everyone xxxxx

Why would you have upset anyone Lyns?

I've been on and off here today for various reasons.

Sorry hubby and your parents aren't doing so well. I hope you can get it sorted.
