We made our last payment to our IVA in November 2010. Our certificate was received in March 2011.
We moved into our own home in April 2011.
We have saved 75% of what was our IVA payment each month since then...... for the first time since our last payment in November 2010 today I have been a little frivalous !

I have booked a 2 night stay in a very nice hotel in Cheltenham for hubby and I in May - we have the Double Delux room with breakfast and evening meal included......all for £300......

I have longed for this day to come when I was able to pick up the phone and make a booking.....I am so chuffed !

So for those of you hitting a wall, or feeling there is no end in sight ....there is, stay focused on your I&E budget and you too can make your dreams come true !

Hope you enjoy your time away Luluj, enjoy the luxury of the hotel.

There is life after an IVA which is always good to read.

I've just had two nights in a Premier Inn (posh for me) £58.00 x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am so glad you had a fab time away lesley - your pics on fb look great !

I think Mr J is getting a bit worried as he has just seen the dress code in the bistro we're eating in !!

Weird though - cos I'm scared to tell my mum - in case she thinks it's too rash and has a go ! God I'm 40 yrs old (nearly) and scared of my mum's reaction !!!

Can't come quick enough !

It's your money and you can spend as you wish, I understand your Mum's concerns as a parent but I'm sure you've learnt a lesson and won't be returning to debt. x
