I love Ebay and Amazon!

I'm trying to work to a budget for our wedding next year and I'm finding that Ebay is brilliant for this. So far I've saved a fortune on my wedding dress (brand new with tags [:D]) and I've also saved a fortune on invitations, place cards and favour boxes.

Before I went BR I wouldn't have dreamed of buying as much on Ebay as I do now. If I need something (not just wedding related!) I look on their first now, and if I can't get it on there Amazon is often a good bet.

Brilliant Skippy[:)] We used ebay a lot when daughter got married last year - even down to the chair covers!

Invitations were from M&S (sale) and we made the wishing box for cards.

I bought the invitations as it was quite hard to find ones with the right wording - most of the ones I liked were worded as though they were from the bride's parents.

Another way of keeping the costs down is that we are going to have balloons as table decorations instead of flowers. I've found balloon arrangements starting at £4.50 each and I dread to think how much flower arrangements might be!

We're planning on hiring the chair covers and sashes, and Dave will be putting the favour boxes together as I don't have the patience for that! All I need now is to find ribbon to match the bridesmaids' dresses to decorate the favour boxes - why did I choose an unusual shade of green?!?!

I like ebay too, I even buy shampoo from there now! I like Amazon and Play too.

It's good to get a bargain Skippy and hope the plans are coming on well. x

I've never thought of buying shampoo from there! I use it mainly for clothes. Have just bought the step granddaughter her first watch from there as it's her birthday next week. Got hubby a cracking watch from there as well when his broke.

A couple of the survey sites I use have a draw every month and I sometimes win £5 or £2 vouchers which I use on Amazon - got a nice little nest egg building up in there!!

It all adds up Jan. I buy shampoo as I'm loving this 'expensive' shampoo that I can't really afford, so I buy it from ebay in giant size and so far it's working out ecconomical. x

I'm afraid my shampoo and conditioner is Asda's own at the moment!

Because my hair is bleached and coloured to an inch of its life I do like a nice shampoo. x

Mine is now natural and very short as you know so any shampoo will do for me!!

It does last for months upon months as my hubby doesn't need to share it! lol x

My hubby doesn't either - I don't think apple shampoo and conditioner would do it for him!

He uses Neutragena as he has dandruff.

I use Aussie shampoo, conditioner and styling stuff. Dave will use it, but he prefers Johnsons baby shampoo!

I like Clinique make up and moisturiser and I've saved a fortune buying that from Ebay shops.

Rarely wear makeup so no worries there. I do have very dry skin on my face but use Avon for that.

I tried Avon face cream but it's all perfumed and it brought me out in spots so I couldn't use it. Clinique is the only cream that doesn't - even Simple doesn't agree with me!
