How do you become a Forum Expert

Hi all,

Not that I have aspirations ot become one, but how do you become a Forum Expert (and an Administrator / campaigner for that matter)?

Hi Fletch, The novice, junior, journeyman, etc titles are generated by the forum system as your post numbers increase.

Becoming an expert / admin etc is by invitation.

What are the target numbers for novice, junior, journeyman, campaigner, etc?

I think 'journeyman' is above 500 posts.
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

I think it is above 500 and it automatically changes when you hit the appropriate number.

As Foggy says, expert and above is by invitation. That is sorted out by Andy.

500 to 999 posts Journeyman
1000 plus posts Artisan.

Unfortunately, unless made an expert, Artisan is the highest you can go.

Unusual for a forum to have 1000 as the upper post limit for a title change. - I have seen them go into the tens of thousands. I doubt I will ever make the dizzy heights of expert so an Artisan I shall stay.
