My best mate went halfers with me on an order for homebrew stuff off the internet. For £55 we got the following:

30 bottle Solomon Grundy Rose kit
30 pint Raspberry and Lime Cider Kit
Bankrupt Stock unlabelled beer kit 30 pint x 2

So my house smells like a brewery at the moment lol. Hopefully bottling the Rose on Saturday night and the first beer shortly after. I'll then whack on the Cider and other beer.

I'll not be short of a drink if I want one until past Xmas I reckon [:D]

So do I plasticdaft!

Just degassed the Rose by pouring 10 times from bucket to bucket. Lost at least a bottle on the garden in the process [:(]

My hubby used to do loads of home brew - one of his disasters was some orange wine - it tasted like liquid marmalade and wasn't pleasant at all!!

I haven't done home brewing for some time, it's great this time of year because the hedgerows are full of stuff that you can make wine from - may just take a walk down the lanes sometime this week.
Alas, I am dying beyond my means.
