Just wanted to say we have just got back from one of our best family holidays and on the tightest budget ever! we were supposed to be going camping but with a baby and 4 year old the weather put us off! My inlaws kindly gave us some money to book a last minute haven holiday for only £79! It was brilliant, we made the most of the free onsite pool and entertainment and ate in brekfast lunch and dinner. Our only extravgance a portion of chips to go with our picnic and a trip on a train which the children loved (great value as you could go on the train as many times as you wanted once you bough the ticket!!) Just goes to show you don't need lots of money to have a good holiday!!

Great post Anna and glad to hear you all enjoyed your "alternative" holiday[8D]

Was it £79 per person and where was the Haven site?

It was £79 for 4 nights monday - friday in a 2 bed appartment or we could have had a caravan for the same price. it was Hafan y mor near Pwelli. We have previously stayed nearby at the Porthmadog greenacres site and it wasn't nearly as good as this one so were we pleasently suprised!

That's brilliant Anna!

I'm hoping to take my 3 grandaughters away for a few days and will be looking for a good holiday park.

I think park dean holidays are doing some great deals at the moment too, depending on where you live!
