I'm going to be a very busy patient over the next 6 months, backwards and forwards to the greatest hospital in the world, as far as I'm concerned. I need a few procedures, my lungs are beginning to cause a bit of trouble, I have a small blockage in one of my arteries, and I have to have an ablation with some lasers, amongst other things. They will not fix the main problem until the minor ones are fixed, too dangerous during and after surgery. I'm ready, I'm in safe safe hands, so bring it on and here we go. They do their thing, and I can sort out the rest. Phiew. I wish you all a very early happy festive season and the brightest start to the new year.

Good luck quark. Good to see you more positive. Keep us informed, we'll be thinking of you.

Thanks Jan, They are gonna try and get me in to do the first bit ASAP. Now we have a clear plan of action, and in some order, I can deal with it, and all the rest. Oh yeah, I've decided to go for the least traumatic surgery as well. They completely have my back and I trust them completely. Being a "patient" involves being exactly that. They know what they are doing.

Thanks Skip, I'm going to see it all as an elongated MOT, before a total engine overhaul. Absolutely nothing in life works out if you are not in the filthiest of health, and I want to be filthy again.

Oh you mucky pair of ratbags, I most immediately meant the filthiest of health, not some Drury Lane, trollop, that will reconvene much much later on, and only at the weekends. I have you know. I was gonna say I shall be keeping my head down for a while, but that would have you laddering your tights, and spilling your tea. Flrrrrrp. Gonna be a rough few months, and I am well ready.

It's Jan Quark, I wouldn't have thought anything of it if she didn't put ideas in my head! [;)]

Thank you Jan, it really has been the most bizarre and mental 4 years of my life, and I cannot wait to be in control of it again. What's needed is to hit my 40th, and to get back on my degree course again, structure, discipline and success. A "Once more unto the breach." attitude. All good.
