Hi all - not going to be able to make the Xmas meal this year. Hosp have made a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia today and I have to start a new drug tomorrow increasing over a period of 6 weeks. It's going to affect me for a while so won't feel safe driving. So if you could scrub my name off please Jan.[:(]

The other thing is I have a non-refundable, non transferable travel lodge room booked. If anyone wants it they are welcome to it. We've just come back from Alton Towers and stayed the night before on the way up and Travel lodge just ask for your name not for ID. I am happy to email the receipt over to anyone who is thinking they may or may not stay. Rather it went to some use rather than telling them and letting them book it out again!!

Sorry you won't be able to make it Kazza. I hope the drugs help you and you're not affected too badly x

Kazza your health is more important, there's always next year and very generous offer of the room and hope someone can take advantage of it.

Hope you feel better soon x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

So sorry you can't make it Kazza but your health comes first.

Generous offer of the room, hope someone can take you up on it.

I know how you are feeling as my mum has been diagnosed with this and the treatment / drugs are difficult in the early stages and can cause side effects ...your health is more important than anything else - hopefully we can catch up soon !

Thanks Lulu. It's not a nice illness as if your muscles are hurting badly you can't find a comfortable position to sit or lie down. At the moment my elbows are giving me grief! I know the answer is to take so much medication you don't care but when you are trying to work it's hard going.

All I want for Xmas is my ill heath retirement so I can pace myself and don't have to curb medication to be able to drive.[:(]
