Yep I also use freecycle. Each to their own I suppose.....dont get me wrong I also use Ebay quite a lot but sometimes I prefer to see the item locally before I buy and where as with ebay its the highest bid that wins, with Gumtree its first to pay and collect..
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

I think we'll have to agree to disagree with this one!!

I buy much of my car parts off Ebay for myself and friends when fixing their cars and selection is enormous but I always check scrapyards, freecycle, Gumtree, Amazon, Ebay then a dealer in that order lol.

I sell my old stuff and then usually by clothes (adults and kids) from Ebay. Anything else is normally Amazon.

Not used Freecycle myself and as our car is Motability we don't need to worry about spares. White goods I've been fortunate to be able to buy new (usually funded by my parents!!)

As I said I've never used Gumtree but I've never been keen on using it as it seems to attract a lot of scammers, which needless to say put me off.

I like the fact with Ebay that I can pay immediately, have it delivered to my door rather than pay fuel to collect and if there is a problem I can get my money back!!

I also like the fact that I can get the best price possible for my goods which are mostly clothes.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
