Quick question, do you guys ever meet up in person? Has there ever been a group get together?

PS - Perhaps we should all be in a lottery sindicate.... if we won it would be the end to all our money worries... ok im off to dreamland. Me and my millions... I wonder if I will get any work done today..[:I]

Hi miak - yes some of us do meet up.

We usually have what we call a Frugal Friends meeting a couple of times a year where we have a lovely social evening and can talk debt (or otherwise) without worrying about being judged!

We have had one in the summer for the past couple of years which has been at my house in the Midlands and then a Christmas do - last one was at Northampton.

Melanie Giles usually funds the food and drink and we have a great time and it's good to put faces to names. I have made some excellent friends on here.

Are you on Facebook Mia? A lot of us are friends on there and debt is never mentioned!!

I am definitely going to try and make the summer Frugal Friends meeting this year. It would be lovely to put some faces to the names!

I can't meet up ... everyone thinks I look like George Clooney .... don't want to burst the bubble !!!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

How do you work this on facebook - do you use your real names because I do and does this matter? Sorry if I'm sounding thick But I can't seem to get my brain into gear this week x
