Morning all, well Leah hit me up at 4am yesterday & today she had me up at 5am! Just wants to come in our bed snuggle & back to sleep leaving me wide awake!

Dad had his operation Monday, a few complications & he came home only able to see rainbows of colour in his one good eye which frightened him as it rendered him virtually blind. In a few hours it started becoming clearer & yesterday he was much better. I've got to do drops in his eye 4 times a day for 4 weeks & he's on strict instructions to take it easy for at least 2 weeks. We are going into see the consultant this morning as he was concerned with dad only having one eye & anything going wrong he wants to catch it early, then it's opticians in 4 weeks & follow up appointment in 6.
Mum was a total nightmare on the day, I never ever realized just how bad she is with her mental health & dementia, I was lost for words by the end of the day.

Boys are going to soccer school for the week next week thanks to Dad as I can't do anything with having his eye care to be back for, then the hubby's off for 2 weeks, then the boys are back to school..... Soon be Christmas!

Thank u! My stress levels have hit the roof n shot through to the moon today.

Dads doing well my sisters eye op went well too, but it just goes to show how busy I've been & I feel terrible.

My youngest son has had tummy pains late on in the day for the past 2 days, but gets up to day totally fine. This afternoon I came home to him in agony. After a phone call to the GP one I'd not seen personally for a few years, they rushed us in.... Managed to get a wee sample which was cloudy off my son, gutt feeling told me to do one.
He was a little star when we got there & his tummy was not distended but sore in places, hiss sample didn't show anything in the dip stick, but cloudy, Dr put it down to one of 3, water infection, viral infection or worst case scenario appendix :( as they can rumble for a few day n then misbehave. Put on antibiotics, pain killers & assured me she would see him tomorrow if I think he was getting any worse. My poor little boy! We got home he had his medicine n was straight to bed, I could cry! This week has just turned into a nightmare.

Please say a little prayer that it doesnt turn out to be his appendix x

Hey all Gosh doesn't time fly! After a hectic few weeks things are finally calming down!

The boys have had a fantastic time to say so much has been going on. They have spent 2 weeks at soccer school & finished off going with the organizer to watch middlesbrough vs crystal palace & had the amazing opportunity to walk out with CP onto the pitch, I can honestly say it was better than any christmas present for them! Especially my eldest, he was so nervous coming out with his player - the player kept on asking him if he was ok!
Dads sight is still fine everything going well, still doing his eye drops twice a day now but he's like a new man, wish I could say more for my mum. When the kids are back to school I'm going to see the GP regarding mum it's a long story in her recent deteriation & I need to go as dad is reluctant.

Leah bless her she's amazing, her rolling ability is almost a fine art & she's also pulling & turning to move! So the fun begins with safety issues in the home & u can't take your eyes off her! I think it wont be long before we have a super fast baby on the move!
Only one week to go before the boys go back to School, I'm going to miss them but I need the time to start on Christmas! It's going to be a huge struggle this year.

Hope every one is having a lovely summer, miss u all, will be back properly when september the 4th is here!

Xxxxx

Lyns.....you are doing a great job in keeping everyone together and going strong - you are clearly a very good juggler !
Hopefully when the boys are at school you will be able to have a little time for you at least part of the day .....Leah will I am sure keep you on your toes but it will be a lovely site seeing her tottering about and giggling at new things.....
Hope you get your appointment with the GP re your mum...I know what you are going through - have dealt with similar in the past and it is very tough on those left to deal with it and provide reasons for things to others that do not understand as clearly.....

You know we are here to support as much as we can and as much as you want us to ....keep smiling !

Good to hear from you Lyns. I always look forward to the photos on FB. You have 3 gorgeous kids and the boys obviously adore Leah - she will soon be wrapping them round her little fingers!

Good luck with your mum chuck. Sometimes we have to make awful decisions and suffer severe guilt but remember you are doing the best for your Mum, Dad and ultimately for you and your family.

You know where I am if you want a chat or a text fest!!

Thank u Kazza & lulu, I've barely had 5 minutes to myself lately I've not turned my dinosaur of a PC on for months! If it wasn't for my phone I'd be totally disconnected from the "outside" world!

Lesley thier faces when they got home were priceless - I just recently had the videos sent to me, need to work out how to store them to keep. It's been the most exciting thing to happen for them ever! My eldest is a football addict the youngest not as much & took some pursuading to go!

Busy day today, indoor play centre for the boys with friends we've not seen for a while & Chinese takeaway for tea.
