It gives you breathing space though Lesley & obviously the MIL needs to be there or else they would kick her out. Enjoy it while it lasts, I know you have been through it with her & you deserve the break x

You have to do what you have to don't you. Sometimes I have not answered the phone and waited for someone else to take it when "the " number flashes up. You have to get your break to keep your sanity. You take care of you too :)

Hi Lyns, good to hear from you - I just wish things were better for you and your family. You are the rock, but you do need to make time for yourself too.

I love seeing the pics of Leah and the boys on FB - can you believe how quickly the time is going? Leah is growing way too fast!

Take care of yourself xx

Hiya, sorry I don't go on the social posts much. Just seen this and if you still need help drop me an email. You are probably sorted now though. I have dla and do the claims a lot for people. Hope you are sorted now but if not I am here :)

Sorry hit the wrong button before I'd finished! I'm going to send off for the forms rather than do them online, so I can quiz lulu & Gina if i get stuck x

Right the hubby Is definitely getting the treatment (TNF) once his TB test is clear which it should be, then it's just waiting for the manufacturer of the drugs to get intouch to let us know when they will be sending the first lot & arranging a specialist nurse to visit him at home to show him how to inject himself.
Dad! My dads consultant is back & there has been a cancelation & he is having his operation Monday, he's very frightened but he is on the verge of going totally blind without it, then theres mum to worry about but I've told him to stop it & he's going n I will sort everything! Good Job I'm just across the road to keep an eye on them & do his aftercare when he gets home, going to have to do a few meals on heels too!
Then last night, my sister has a rare eye problem & needs a operation which is happening next Thursday & needs escorting home, I've promised I will sort that too. Funny both dad & my sister are under the same consultant & the last outpatients appointment they both had was 10 minutes apart! Was like a family outing as I drove n went with them both.
MIL has had some health problems for a while & is now going in on Wednesday for a endoscopy & colonoscopy....

It's a blooming good job we have a car now as no one else does above nor can they drive! Looks a tad busy next week, its bad timing with the summer holiday, boys not had much of a holiday so far.

I think you stand a good chance of getting it. My husband has just had a review of his (even though it was given indefinitely the first time) and they have agreed that he needs to continue on the higher rate DLA.

I hope your dad's op goes ok Lyns and that you can cope with all of this extra work!! Don't overdo it - you've enough on your plate with hubby and three kids!!

Don't worry im going to try! Hubby's scores on his condition are now as bad as when he was first diagnosed. Dads clearly worried this morning, his letter arrived to confirm so it feels more real to him. I'm making a couple of batches of cottage pie tomorrow, got tons of other stuff to do. My mum had already totally forgotten by today that he was going in & what it was for. My main concern is keeping tabs on her & making sure he's ok whilst at home.

It's only just dawned on me that it's all happening, but I have to be strong n show him everything is going to be fine!

I'm good at juggling lots going on!
