Just picked up my car. They found some loose and dirty connections can't remember where he said but everything seems to be ok - had a full service and new tyre and bill was £167 (cash). Quite pleased with that and I needed the service x

yes, footiemad, excellent news on the car. Always wise to have it checked over before winter too.

Antm .. my lot were supposed to deliver the hire car - but I went and collected it in the end. Might mention that to my insurance company, as I expect they pay for the service!

It's nice to have your own car back I agree but so glad they've finally delivered!

I don't know .... I was quite getting used to my brand new hire car! Managed to hang on to it for 10 days while mine was being repaired. Mind you, being constntley worried about damaging it did take the edge off!

Great that they've sorted you out Antm [:)]

That keep checking is the car ok is getting annoying, was told off at work as i double parked in the staff parking area, well they tried to tell me off. They didn't know whose car it was, just had a tesco pass in the window and i parked it between 2 concrete pillars. No one was able to park at the side of me lol!!

Really don't want another claim for a door dent on a courtesy car!
