I am getting a squeak from the back of my golf on left hand bends? Cars are a total pain!

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

You'll have to change your route, Paul. Only right hand bends from now on [:D]

Great. Now takes me 3 hours to drive to work instead of 10 mins! Haha.

good luck with getting you fixed.
could you please post what it was when done.
I repair cars myself
oil light on when you have oil in, that could be the sensor, but cant think why the other would stop working at the same time..

Yes will do Kev. Strange thing is they have all started working again now but even so it will be looked at on Wenesday. The horn, which hasn't worked for over a year has even started to work as well (a bit hit and miss though). Thing is, I love my car and I've had it from new (2002) and I know everything that has been done to it, including cam belt, so although its high mileage, I really want it to last throughout my IVA. Maybe hoping for a bit too much there x

Intermittent faults like this, although a swine to trace, are usually down to a loose connection, or, more likely as multiple circuits are involved, a bad earth. Hopefully your garage can find it quickly.

My car took a bump today, not happy i was stationary just about to put the hand brake on and bump up the back. Rear bumper dented, wheel arch dented in and ding in the rear wheel.

Luckily my insurance have been great so far, just waiting for the car to be picked up and a courtsey to be dropped off, not a great start to the week!

It's a pain though, isn't it antm ? I. hopefully, get my car back tomorrow ... stupid thing is, I have had a hire car all weel ( paid for by her insurance) and, because I have been in pain with the neck injury, I haven't been able to drive it, so it will go back with about 4 more on the clock than when I got it!! I should be charging them for storage !!!

Not good but at least you weren't hurt.

Ive had a bad head all day, but that could be stress. I was worried about my excess but been told as i was hit and the position of the damage makes it 90% she hit me, unless i rolled back which i didn't. So her insurance should pay for my excess. Seems to have nothing but trouble since ive owned the car outright.

Makes it worse i decided the other day to keep the car for 2 more years and save my iva payment amount after ive finished to replace the car, now not so sure.
