If it were not for camping, my wife and I would not have had a holiday last year at all, but there is camping and camping.

We have a small 2 man tent we use when we have the bike or don't want to haul all the equipment around and a 5 man tent with 2 bedrooms when we want to stay longer.

This one has the space(with canopy extension) to take a portaloo in the second bedroom and a folding wardrobe, then there is the electric hookup which lets you use one of the small halogen oven, electric fire and coolbox, table and chairs and a couple of inflatable armchairs. The tent has carpet in the living area.

When we went camping last year there was even someone in a tent nearby with their TV and satalite dish.

ST1100 - sounds like us - although we have a 8 man tent - three bedrooms and a lounge - blow up settee, electric hook up, DVD player, fridge - only thing we don't have is the portaloo ! Can't wait for the 2nd June - 3 nights of lovely outdoor living !

Hope you enjoy your camping Luluj, especially getting some good weather.
It may be later in the year we go camping again, as we have just come back from France on a Sun cheapy deal.
Have you seen the ukcampsite.co.uk website?

We had a holiday last year courtesy of family funding but won't be going anywhere this year.

I agree with Jan that even if we were offered camping, we'd turn it down.

Enjoy your break Liz.
