Our first annual review is due on 18th September - as of yet we have not heard anything from DFD. However three months ago we did complete a new I&E form and received a letter from them to confirm, that even though husband had received hi pay rise, our payments were to stay the same - at the time of completing new I&E we had to provide new payslips, P60's and evidence of increase expenditure - utility bills etc etc - do you think that because they received this only three months ago, that they will count that as our annual review and therefore not ask us to complete again ???

Or should I ring them and ask the question ??

One year on, we are so much better off than before - just now regret not doing this sooner - but still 4 years left !!!!

48 payments to go !

Hi Lulu
I would give them a ring and check.
Glad to here all is going well. We are the same we just regret not doing something about it sooner. Lets hope all continues. I am just waiting for our six month review ( ours does a six monthly one as well as the annual) I had to remind them though it is now heading towards the annual one.

Luluj. Why did you complete a payment review early? Only asking as we are now with DFD and I've sent in mine early-my request for a review due to increase in outgoings, and not heard a thing.I've emailed and prompted. They say they have forwarded email to relevant dept? Cat

My husband rec'd a £3000 payrise and wewanted to be reassessed then so that it was not a shock at the review stage at 12 months - as it happened they wrote back saying no change in the amount, which surprised us as the rise was what we classed to be significant - but I am not going to question that one - I have it writing and therefore at 12 months review they cannot say we did not inform them or they want an increase!

Hopefully the reviews will be taking account of all the extra we are having to pay out for fuel, energy prices, food etc. and balancing out with any increases in pay. i think that it's going to be hard winter.

Really glad to hear that you are settling into your IVA Lulu and managing it well. For me, entering into an IVA was one of the best things I ever did.
